What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention, non-judgmentally to the present moment. Through both formal and informal meditation, mindful movement, and exploring stress reactivity, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course will teach you simple, profound practices to help you cultivate a greater awareness of the mind/body connection. Throughout the course, you will be consciously and systematically working with your own innate capacities to meet the challenges and demands of your everyday life. These practices allow us to identify and move past the often toxic thoughts, feelings and behaviors that lie at the root of suffering and stress.
